The award was given during a Life Care ceremony held at the American Medical Directors Association Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. Five other division award winners, a company-wide winner and a Heritage Award winner were also honored.
Potomski has served as the medical director at Life Care Center of Melbourne for 14 years. During the award ceremony, he was praised for his commitment to area seniors. He founded and continues to organize the annual Brevard County Long-Term Care Symposium, which provides free education on senior health care topics to health care providers throughout the region.
“His passion lies in educating clinicians to provide higher quality care,” said Aaron Preston, executive director at Life Care Center of Melbourne. “Through his efforts, our facility has maintained excellent quality measures for many years.”
